JH Chickpea Burger

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g tinned chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method:

  • Pre heat oven 200 c fan/gas mark 7
  • Drain chickpeas and rinse, place in large bowl
  • Mash with a potato masher or fork
  • Add the spices, garlic granules, tomato puree, lime juice, oilve oil and salt and pepper to taste
  • Mix
  • Shape into 4 patties, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper
  • Bake for 20 minutes

Serving Suggestion:

JH Avocado salsa (see previous recipes), lettuce, onion, tomato slice and bun
